Created by HTK, a new online national information portal for migrant workers was launched in London on 11 June 2009.

myUKinfo.com is a website that gives migrant workers and their employers access to important information about working and living in the UK. The site is intended to help, not only migrant workers, but also those people and organisations who work with or help them.

All you need to know about living and working in the UK

At the moment the site focuses on workers from Europe, and is currently available in English, Polish and Portuguese. As myUKinfo.com grows, the information will expand and will be made available in other languages.

The site provides essential and continuously updated information for migrant workers already in the UK and those looking to come to the UK to work about immigration, work, UK life, housing, money, family, health and emergencies. It has been designed with help from migrant workers and the people that support them.

The site will be available for advertising to sponsors and advertisers from all levels of Government, charities and commercial enterprises including potential migrant worker employers.

myUKinfo.com is interested in exploring future collaboration and partnerships with other organisations, including the opportunity to link up with other websites, and it has a supply of simple information cards available in the first three languages.

myUKinfo.com is a cross-government initiative for the UK, led by the East of England Development Agency with the support of the European Social Fund.
